You should refrain from waxing as a hair-removal method if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, other prescribed medications that increase skin exfoliation, are sunburned, or recovering from a recent laser peel. It is not advisable to schedule a body exfoliation of any sort on the same day as you are waxed.
